Does Your Kitchen Need Help?

Hey, I know MY kitchen needs help!  Here is some help for us both.  Be sure to visit Mimi's website at the bottom of this post - or click on her book. She has TONS of helps there!  Enjoy!

How is your kitchen today? If there's any kind of mess or clutter in your kitchen, but you feel to tired, busy, or overwhelmed to tackle it, here's what to do:
  • Take one counter section at a time. Head for the kitchen about four times a day, and work on one section that's about three feet long.
  • Clear that section by throwing away items if needed, and putting other items in the cupboards or pantry.
  • Then (the fun part) clean the counter and get it shining. 
    • Leave that counter area alone for the rest of the day if possible! 
    • If you must use it, get it right back to where it was - clean and wonderful.
  • Later in the day, head for the kitchen again and do the same thing on another three-feet section. (or however much you have left.)
  • Within 1 or 2 days, your kitchen will be in great shape. 
  • You may want to allow more days to do other things - like work on the refrigerator, or shine up the floor.
