11 Sock Crafts

http://www.favecrafts.com/

I'm not sure where all the other socks run off to, but the remaining ones have purpose now!

The Lost Sole's Club: 11 Sock Crafts!

Do you have a basket of socks that are missing their mate?  Rather than have them take up space in your laundry room, use them to create these fun and decorative craft projects!

Sock Monsters

Don't throw those old socks away!

Instead, turn them into monsters! Simply stuff the socks and sew on funny features. This is a great activity for youngsters... as long as you do the sewing, etc.  Allow them to stuff the socks!

    Materials:
    • Sock
    • Scissors
    • Yarn (wool) and needle with
    • a large eye
    • Fiberfill (stuffing)
    • Scraps of felt
    • Needle and thread
    • Buttons

And here are more ideas for you to have fun with:

Don’t throw your odd socks away. Instead, transform them into monsters! Simply stuff the socks and sew funny features onto them to make a whole array of crazy creatures. This is a great project for young children, as the sewing is very simple, and little hands will have lots of fun stuffing their socks!   Project excerpted from Sewing for Children by Emma Hardy.
